About Leah

Hello!

I've always experienced the world a little differently.

From a young age, I was deeply sensitive to energy, environments, and the emotions of those around me. At the time, I didn't understand what I was sensing—I simply knew I could feel what others often couldn't. Looking back, those early experiences became the foundation for the work I do today.

Professionally, my career began in management accounting and business systems analysis, where I developed a practical, analytical approach to solving problems and creating systems that help people thrive. While it may seem like an unusual path into transformational work, it taught me something invaluable: lasting change requires both insight and structure.

More than 20 years ago, I followed a calling to create Universal Matters.

Since then, my journey has included continual learning, personal growth, and the privilege of supporting people through some of life's most significant transitions. Along the way I've expanded my knowledge across a range of wellbeing disciplines, including recently completing He Papa Tikanga, and I also work as a Molecular Hydrogen Advisor. I believe true wellbeing is holistic—honouring the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of who we are.

Outside of my work, I'm a proud mumma to two incredible adult children who continue to inspire me.

Movement has become an important part of my own wellbeing journey. I discovered Pilates just two years ago and recently completed my first Pilates Games—something I never imagined I'd be capable of. It's a reminder that growth is always possible, no matter where we begin.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me enjoying a good movie or sharing a Friday night debrief over a glass of wine with friends. Those simple moments of connection are just as nourishing as the deeper transformational work I love.

Above all, I feel incredibly privileged to walk alongside people as they rediscover themselves, navigate change, and create lives that feel more aligned and fulfilling.

My purpose has always been simple: to make a positive impact in the lives of the people whose paths cross mine.

If our paths have crossed, I hope Universal Matters becomes a place where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to become the fullest expression of yourself.

Our Philosophy

"Transformation doesn't happen because someone changes you. It happens because you reconnect with who you've always been."
